Adidas Batting Pads
There are four different types of pads under the Adidas umbrella, Elite, Pro, County and Pro Junior. The Elite version of the pads will be released from March 2009. What would separate this out from the other existing brands would be its high foam density that would help the batsman with extra protection. Pietersen endorses for the Pro and Pro Junior versions of the Adidas pads.
Adidas Gloves and Clothes
Adidas Gloves are known for their high density foam padding. The Gloves have a split finger design and enough care has been taken for extra protection. The design is such that the fingers remain together as a unit to help prevent finger breaks by preventing the shifting of the foam padding. There is a towelling wrist band which absorbs the sweat. Adidas is also the supplier of the English ODI and T20 t-shirt, and ODI and T20 caps.
